yep, same here. Only thing I can think of, is how the tablets are finished off on the outside? I can’t take them as capsules, and the round ones seem to get so disproportionately huge once you put them in your mouth and try to swallow 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The only ones I manage easily are the caplets - the oblong ish ones. But as you say, other meds, fine, then along comes our innocuous looking friend paracetamol ……..

If anyone knows why, it will be interesting to know.

That's just it, The caplets just don't want to go down, ibuprofen will go down without a second thought, trouble is I take them more than I ought to and without food,

They were ideal at the beginning of a migraine gave me chance to get up to bed before hitting the deck,I know now this is not a good idea, I had a hiatuse (sorry cant spell)

hernia and apparently it was the size of a fist.

Something to try that I've read...Caplets are lighter so they float. Take gulp of water and swallow with your head forward rather than backwards.

Other tablets , put at back of tongue then take the gulp of water. Put head back to swallow.

You can buy paracetamol in caplets which will make it easier

I would love to hear how this works for everyone x

A quick tip. I take the oval one's not the round ones. When you take a drink with any tablets, put your hand on your head, press your head as you swallow. It actually works better for swallowing tablets if you are having trouble. Have a go see if it works for you!! Xx

I thought after finishing antibiotics it would be okay My dentist receptionist says no dentists are there at the moment,Call in the morning at 0830,Or If I cant cope over night go to A&E!

That sounds a little too much,I think the staff have more things to be worry about, And I don't want to be admitted for fibro flare caused by waiting around and being in pain from my teeth, On a better note, I have an appointment with Facial oral people,

But not until 27th June, This year needs to be getting better soon,I'm trying to go outside, but to be honest I just can't see why I should put myself through the anxiety I already go through attending appointments,If there were less people,Less light, less dark, and Less cold, less hot, less PAIN oh and did I mention less depression and anxiety,

I've really got to get a handle on things

Hi DD72.As stated by others the powdery coating on the paracetamol may prevent U from getting the tablets down ya.

Have U looked into the the tablets like ibuprofen as they may be easier to swallow.
