Awful headache for past week

Hi all can anyone give advice on a terrible aching behind the eyes and pain when looking at bright lights. This has been going on for the last week have seen gp who was useless and said to monitor it and that it was not a migraine. Have taken anadins and cuprofen and it’s not touched it. Co cosmology just takes the edge off it but then returns. Is this associated with fybromyalgia? Thanks

If it's still continuing I would go back and see your GP again, as it may not be anything to do with fibro. It might also be useful to have your eyes tested as well. I hope you get some ease soon. xx

Agree with moal book an appointment with opticians as soon as you can for a piece of mind they will properly say see gp as well to tick all the boxes. Not sure if fibro but if flashing lights come on tv screen etc I have to look away. Take care xxx

Thank you for your reply - have visited gp and he seems to think it is the co-codymol as have been on it a few months now. I am not convinced as headaches still on going. Just hope he is right as I have no idea where to go next. Hope all is well as can be expected for you!

Hya there duc I was getting very bad headaches and a lot of pain over my eyes to I went to hv my eyes tested at specs avers which are very good had to wear reading glasses plus for long distance there was some thing wrong at the back of my eyes I was sent to the eye hospital which they told me my pressure was very high in both eyes had to hv drops then I had them lasered 3 weeks ago go for check ups now making sure the pressure is goin dwn. So duc go hv yr eyes tested c if they r causing yr headaches it mite not be thro fibro you take care glor xx
