Sometimes I feel so alone with this illness its nice to share other people's experiences, I also have severe copd so oxygen 24hrs and and a niv ventilator overnight. I am currently in the middle of a flare up that's been months now I'm in agony every day despite lots of pain meds tens machine nothing seems to cut it. Feels like this flare up is never going to end .Happy Easter 🐣

Wow you do have a lot going on caring for others when you need to care for yourself is not easy. I have an autistic son to but he us in the mild category and he is still hard work and my youngest is suspected to be on the spectrum also awaiting assessment. I don't know if you have help but it sounds like that may be what you need most as you cannot do it all as much as we like to think we can slowing down helps relieve pressure on our bodies and helps us get over flare ups. I gave up work after my last child was born as I had to look after me it wasn't easy and financially I struggled but I got through it and have a ft wage from my husband also so that helps. I used services like barnardo for support for a while when I needed them they were a good send they helped around the house as it had gone to ruin while sick during pregnancy and then developing fibromyalgia just as I was getting back on my feet. I hope you have support don't be afraid to ask for help it can be invaluable. I wish you well and hope you overcome the flare up soon x

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that. It doesn't help to have an autistic child when you are fighting your own conditions. Autistic kids can be so sweet, and at the same time, hard as anything to cope with.

I really hope you are getting a good package of help from Social Services, etc.
