@buddy99. Thank you for the link, it was interesting. There is one problem I have with the theory though. Fibromyalgia is not an inflammatory condition. Yes inflammation can make symptoms worse but it is not always present with fibro. This can be misleading. However, a healthy diet can help you deal with your symptoms and benefits your overall health. I wholeheartedly recommend a diet rich in plant nutrients. Since I changed my diet, I have seen the benefits to my health. It is common for 'doctors' on the web to blame everything on inflammation. Please be careful when researching fibro, there is a lot of believable half truths out there.

Thanks for the link, buddy. I'm glad it was not too long a listen so I have listened a second time now with loudspeaker on and both hearing aids! Lots in it to consider and such things as videos people recommend do play a part in encouraging me to keep on trying to sort out my health probs with diet. But ... and there always is a but .. whenever these vids talk about vegetables and fruit they leave out considerations like oxylates which nature has designed to stop some green plants being eaten by us animals, and fodmaps friendly fruit for those with a tendency to ibs. Certainly upping the amount of fruits and veg is probably the most important aspect of nutrition, although right now some may find that horribly expensive. Am certainly looking at the weeds in my garden with more interest!

I've also read that what is grown now is not as nourishing as it used to be, so I make use of supplements a fair bit when I can get organised and actually have the energy to take them. - If you're interested, I have been taking a before food powder supplement of NMN first thing before breakfast if I'm not fasting. Our body makes it, but mostly not enough. Anyway, after about four or five months of trying it, I'm beginning to think it is making an appreciable difference to my ageing being. - Can be easily bought online from the usual sources and is safe because we do all make it anyway. Just not enough.

Best possible health to you and enjoy the stretches.

Yeah, I agree with you. Nothing ever seems to be simple and straight forward. It also seems to me that the more information I collect the more complicated it gets. Ignorance can sometimes be bliss. And even that is complicated since I don't know how much I want to "pay" for that bliss (or the enlightenment for that matter :) ). In the end I just muddle through, it seems. :D

I very much agree, buddy. Important to keep trying and keep sharing. What people share on here can sometimes lead you on to something, as in ... I feel better about cortisol in my system after some others shared their understanding about it so more positive about those times when I've lost a fair bit of sleep but I'm still doing stuff. - We're in a kind of war really with our lives very much on hold. Muddling through is about right.
