lower back pain

ive been recently been diagnosed with lower back pain with fibromyalgia but im getting pains in my bones in my neck, shoulder and head and i don't know what to do about it as I'm not sleeping and its giving me a lot of pain

Morning , what has your doctor said about these recent pains ? Sometimes they get blood tests done to see if something else is going on ie arthritis etc , I hope your doc is understanding as not all, pains are fibro related, horrid being in pain, I do find heat helps with my back neck shoulders , differently a wheat bag and my hot water bottles , a warm soak in the bath if your able . I hope you get too speak too your doctor xx

When my head, neck and shoulders are in pain, I sleep on an electric heating pad. That makes a huge difference.

like the others say, heat is my best friend, snuggled in bed with my electric blanket gives me a chance of sleep, wheat bad over shoulders during the day

Evening. I would insist on having a scan. I was treated for fibromyalgia for almost 9 years, until one day I had just had enough and through a wobbly in the doctors surgery and insisted on seeing a rheumatologist. He did a scan and sent me to a surgeon, after seeing the scans he told me my spine was collapsing, the bottom 6 vertebrae were dropping and pinching nerves. Too late to do anything for me but had I been referred to him initially they could have operated and helped me. I now have fingers going dead etc. Don't be fobbed off stand your ground and insist on seeing a consultant just in case.
