I suffer with fibromyalgia and have been thinking about trying CBD oil ….has anyone tried it ….do you think it works?

Hello I’m currently trying a CBD oil only had it a week but not noticed much yet but still on smaller dose , I’m trying it for fibromyalgia like yourself plus I’m getting bad anxiety recently!I will continue to use until I finish the tiny bottles !

Hi, yes I use it, have done for 2 years. After a lot of trial and error I found a brand that works for me. It doesn't take the pain away totally, it takes the edge off and I am able to manage my fibro better. I no longer take Cocodamol (which added more problems) . I have anxiety also and it helps with relax and improves my sleep and mood. I'm less tense so the pain is more bearable and I cope better with my symptoms since taking it. I use it with a combination of magnesium oil and spray and tiger balm for my lower back as well as 'trying' my best to pace. Like all things it may not work for everyone but I've never looked back. Its not cheap but for me, its worth it.

There is a placebo effect with a lot of meds and alternatives.

I did. Unfortunately, it made my IBS worse and made only a slight difference in my pain levels.

I am taking cbd oil and it has certainly taken away most of the pain and my morning stiffness is not as bad as it used to be worth a try

What are peoples thoughts on this CBD study? Not fibro specific. Short take is it did not help but this quote resonates with us "It's being sold to patients as sort of a panacea,"

We definitely need more research.

I find 5HTP helpful. It works on the serotonin receptors. At one point I couldn't fasten my bra, a few days after starting 5HTP I could.
