Does anyone ever get a sudden pressure in their head where they can feel and hear their blood pounding in their head. Fast and hard. There is no headache.
This is not new to me and comes and goes but is very sudden and dramatic when it does.
I hope you all have a good weekend.
Thanks.

Yes I do get this regularly. I have tinnitus as one of my fibromyalgia symptoms so may be connected to that. Am on BP tablets so don't think it's that. Do get it checked out though
I have had this before and had the pressure build up from my spinal fluid not being able to drain due to blood clots. I did hear the blood pudding in my ears. It wasn't just tinnitus. It really was the blood through and hearing it. Eventually the pressure built up and pressed against my optic nerves. Luckily the doctor caught it before it caused
blindness. I take Diamox to keep my spinal fluid down, not generating as fast as a normal person. I take warfarin to make sure I didn't get more blood clots. At the time, it was called pseudo tumor cerebri caused by venous sinus thrombosis. I believe now they call it high intracranial pressure. Find a really good doctor. I go to a neuro-opthalmologist. Make sure to get out checked out! Good luck to you!
Thank you. I am glad you caught it early enough. I will speak with my doctor next time I see him. Doctors told me they cant help me with medication for fibro pain as it would most likely not work on me. Feel like they just dont know what to do with us a lot of the time.
