Fibromyalgia crying session

Today I have had a cry today as I feel an absolute failure with not being able to do many hours of work and getting very tired of money issues.

I’m thankful for many things in my life though and my dogs and family keep me going.

It is really lovely to hear all your lovely messages.

Sending hugs and understanding. Sometimes a good cry does us good to get how we are feeling out of our system.

On bad days, I try to focus on what I do achieve - no matter how small it might be, rather than what I cannot do xxx

Bless hun, it’s good to have a little cry, it helps to let you feel better.Sending you lots of healing hugs 🤗🤗🤗.

Take care.

Hello, I had cry today because my dog is at the vet's at the moment having his infected ear being cleaned out under sedation - I don't like leaving my fur baby with strangers:( Plus, I've got a flat tyre to deal with and back muscles very twingy today. My menopausal hormones don't help what so ever! Tomorrow will be a better day:) Take care.

They will be very kind to your fur baby , they are in the job because they love animals so please don’t be worried. The tyre is very very annoying though I have to agree, I do hope you get it fixed easily enough. Tomorrow will be a much better day, I’m sending you hugs x x

Hi. I think we all feel like that sometimes, even those that don't have Fibro feel like they've failed sometimes but try to look at all of the positive things in your life and what you have achieved. My colleague came into work crying once and saying that she hadn't done well enough in life. So I simply asked her "compared to whom?" (She is an amazing, kind, caring, single mum with her own property.) We are all different, what you consider as failure, others would call success. Just writing your message on here and telling people that it is ok to cry (I struggle with emotions) is helpful to me so you've successfully helped me today as I think I might go home and do exactly that after work today....so thank you. 🙂

So sorry to hear about your work and money issues. Have you tried Citizens Advice? Just in case they can help either with work issues or money. Even if you might not be in debt they may be able to give advice you haven’t thought of. When you are just trying to survive it’s difficult to think beyond day to day but it’s worth an appointment.

Sending gentle hugs, I understand how you feel. When I feel down I try to concentrate and think about the good things in my life, and what I can do, rather than what I can't. xx Hope you are feeling better this morning. x

If it gives you any comfort, you have so many people here that know exactly what you're going through. Sometimes it seems like all days are bad days. I had our dog Mugsy who was a 125 pound Mastiff who I could hold on to getting up and down stairs, when my husband worked nights he slept next to me. Mugsy was my comfort and I could never count the tears I shed. I had a good job, but found it hard to sit 8 hours with every muscle hurting. My Mugsy died last year and put me in a depression I never felt before. The pain meds I took were taken away from me since it was a synthetic opioid. It was the only thing that helped. If you live in a state where you can get THC (from marijuana) in the form of candies take those. They ease the pain, and really help with the sleeping. I highly recommend it. If your state doesn't , travel to a nearby state to get them. The people working in the shops will help you with what you need. They are much cheaper than some of the pain pills and not addictive. Even my doctor approved. When I was at my worst, I started writing in a journal. It seemed putting things to paper help. Take Care, there will be better days ahead.

You're not a failure. Fibro is very unforgiving, and it steals your energy. The good thing is, that Housework is very patient!

I would guess that you are still fairly new to Fibro, so Look up The Spoon Theory on the Net, it will help you to understand how it steals your energy, and why you don't get to go out in the evenings lately.

It will also help you explain it to others.

Cheers, Midori
