Barometric pressure, and storms.

I was wondering if the incoming thunderstorms are effecting any 1 else.

The barometer is on change, I live on the hampshire coast so are due to be 1 of the 1st areas to be hit ( apart from my son in the chanel islands😆)

As the days worn on im feeling worse and worse. I ache all over. Headache. My minds so foggy im surprised theres not a horn going off ( may b thats why Ive got the headache)🤪

As for irritability, hubby and the dogs have gone into hiding.

Was curious if others symptpms are affected by the weather. Not just extreme temps. I dont like too hot or cold either, but by hypobaric pressure.

Humidity is a killer for me. And the temps we had today have left me feeling like a whale out of water. Draining and exhausting 🐳

I have been struggling since last week and the only thing I can put it down to is the weather. 🤷‍♀️So fatigued, pain all over, even my palms hurt, hip, shoulder, knee, I'm falling to bits. 😴😢

I had to go into three hospitals yesterday - with a mask on - dreadful sweating. I wish they would allow us who have had our vaccines to be able to breathe. Apart from that, it's just so hot at night, despite bedroom being quite cool.

Im so sorruy every 1. Imnglad its not my imagination, but sorry youre all suffering so. Indidnt have too much of a problem with temprature control after my hysterectomy the instant menopause kicked in big time, but more than a decade on, i still have thermostat issues. Eating too many sulphites causes me to have hot flushes. But i have a fan on most nights , summer or winter.. having to choose between being hot or having a weighted blanket for pain can be a difficult choice.

yep the last two days have been awful , never ceases to amaze me all these years on that I don't realise it until a couple of days then I have my aha moment and hit the pain killers again, and keep telling myself 'this will pass!'29 degrees and im freezing and in pain, hang in there it will pass !

Yes I’m the same , either too hot or too cold, there’s no happy medium, I hate this close muggy weather, thunderstorms forecast soon, hopefully they will clear the air a bit.

I suffer with migraines especially when storms are due … and I can sort of predict a lightning ⚡️ strike happening 🤪 but yes I get affected and I’m totally exhausted wiped out when it’s really hot 🥵

You sound just like me. When the humidity is high and when the pressure's building, bear with very sore head is me. Everyone runs for cover.

Yet I love storms, and the smell of the rain on the soil, watching the lightning, calculating the time between flash and rumble. and the Precious Relief afterwards!

The changes in weather affect me too but in an odd way. Once we have a few days of warmth I am fine, but the change over period of about 24-36 hours from cold and or wet leaves me drained, irritable and pain. Once the weather has settled, even if it is cold or wet from warm and dry I am okay. It is the actual changes itself in barometric pressures which make me feel ill.

Very strange!

Mine starts as it starts changing. Today its not lower, but im so low.

Hi Bruton it sounds like we are very similar. I just thought it was me being the odd one out!

It is definitely the variations from wet/dry/warm/cold which cause the trouble.

Unfortunately when we get the very changeable weather the aches and pains seem constant as there is no respite.

Like everything else with our conditions it is just another thing to put up with. :(

Oh yes,

I love storms, but the increasing humidity and air pressure spark off all kinds of aches and pains. My legs also swell until I feel I should cut my skin to relieve it (I don't, I hasten to add!)

Must admit I don't do well in any wet weather, grumpy old wumman I am.

I don't do well in really hot weather either. I love seeing the sun, but I burn to a crisp in no time flat! My best seasons are spring and Autumn!

Cheers, Midori
