I suffer low blood pressure but yesterday it dropped drastically to83/35. I have had a headache for 4 days now and thought it was down to my fibromyalgia and turning into a horrible migraine . I was in hospital 2 weeks ago for 3 days for a burst cyst on ovaries which turned into a urinary tract infection ,I feel rubbish but now I think this headache could be down to my blood pressure being low and am worried as when I was in hospital and my bp was low a nurse told my family I had to get it higher as I could end up with septicaemia and become really ill. Does anyone else suffer no like this x

I’m so sorry you’re suffering. What did you do in the past to bring your blood pressure up. My mom suffers from that too. I used to make her eat something salty and hers came up. If it’s safe to eat salt maybe this can work for you too. Having it that low is dangerous. You should call your doctor and get instructions if you’re not going to do anything.
Thank you yes my husband makes me drink loads which make me go to toilet slot but this is my excuse for chip shop chips and salted crisps as I don't really like salt on my food thanks hope your feeling well today 💐💐xx
Hi, I also have low blood pressure and fibromyalgia and cluster migraines. All my GP told me is to get ip slowly from sitting and to rest if I feel dizzy. You can eat salty foods as well but it would be best to go back to your GP and put your mind at rest and see what they recommend you do. Take care x
Hi Marcusi have this problem and often faint and go dizzy due to low blood pressure. Does this happen to you? You're blood pressure 83/35was very dangerous and could cause heart problems you need to back to go and insist on being referred to a hospital
I am like you. It got so bad I fainted and put my head through a wall. At a&e they told me to see my GP and ask to be referred to a fall and syncope clinic. I had never heard of one but they are great I have had 24hr heart and blood pressure monitors on, had an ultrasound on my heart and had my salt and mineral level s measured. I am waiting to go to an appointment to discuss anything they may have found but they have already diagnosed me with vasovagal syncope. Please ask for a referral. Be careful with yourself
I suffer from low blood pressure too. It was 80/50 when I had surgery. I came back with Hartman’s solution drip so something must have happened in theatre. I have urges for fizzy drinks and salty crisps so my body must be telling me that I need it. I do get arrhythmias as well. With your history it would be a good idea to get a referral to a cardiac unit so you don’t end up with long term issues. On day to day living don’t stand up too quick. Sit down to put shoes on. Try not to use the bath when you are alone in the house. Take extra care when cooking eg slide pans rather than lift. Get a credit card piece of card and write emergency contact details on it and that you suffer from low blood pressure and put it in the front of a clear plastic faced card holder. Hope your headaches have settled. When you have an attack lay on your back and raise your feet above the level of your heart. It will help with circulation and keep blood around your main organs x
