Slimming tablet - Olistat

I am seriously overweight, my diet is ok but can’t lose weight. My GP has suggested a sliming tablet called Olistat. Has anyone taken these? Are there any side effects? Do they work?

Fat doesn't make you Fat excessive Calories do much more is from Sugars/Carbohydrates especially "Un'burnable Types as the Stomach in essence is a fire you shovel stuff in it burns it to give energy in the same way a steam train would.

Think of it like Wet/Green wood V Dry/Seasoned wood!

Wet wood gives lots of smoke burns slowly poor heat the trains slow and sluggish and the Wood pile keeps growing as not getting used.

Nice dry wood burns well little smoke lots of heat the trains Whoo whoo and flying and the Wood Pile is always low as burn't.

Read labels Hydrogenated fats/etc are an altered stuff that isn't any good to the body as hard for it to deal with why it has been removed by many places some places like Turkey use still!

Fats in Cheese/Eggs/Red meats etc are Essential for well being because they allow your body to Metabolise Vitamins like D from food as it is Fat soluble where as Vit C is water so without fat nutrients pass through.

What do you eat not just a day but over the month?

Learn to work a balance out so if had an A balance it out by having less B and maybe C.

Learn to get the wheels of the Train moving so works on lowering your wood pile!

That way you keep it off rather than stop a med then put weight back on.

For one as starving your self which loose weight in short term but put more back on in long term as the body remembers so will hold things back.

But if you educate it to burn things it will use body fat rather than muscle etc which is lost more if starve.

Thank you for your response. I’ve decided not to go down the pill route and looking at basic calorie counting and see how I go with that for a few months. Take care x
