Hi have got a sheet From my sister who is a pain relief specialist at our local
Hospital, which gives links to NHS YouTube Relaxation Techniques as supplied via the Hospital. Will photo might help others on our Forum as well.
Another question as new to this Forum, do others suffer pins and needles down the arms and legs? Also have slight tingling and numbing feeling around mouth and nose, have had this before so not dwelling on it but this
tends to manifest itself when my neck and shoulders severely play up.
Helped the wife Monday with some quick shopping as not walking too good,
Since Flare in late December 2020, helped unload the car when we got home then later that night went to get out of chair could hardly walk and the pins and needles went in to stratosphere mode.
Has settled back down a bit but since but this recent Flare has caused discomfort and tenderness in all joints and muscles, going next week to have a Bio Mechanical check on the back. As can’t rule out fall I had over 14 months back maybe to contributing to this latest episode, things have been creeping up on me over the last year culminating in latest period off work. Would also ask does anybody else get throat issues, it feels like something permanently Stuck in my throat this started coming on in October last year and has been Uncomfortable to say the least. Been to the Doctor but really no definitive answer. Any comments most welcome.

Hi and a warm welcome to our community. Here you will find information support friendship and laughter too. You can find general information on fibromyalgia at our main website fmauk.org
Pins & needles, numbness, tingling etc can be part of fibromyalgia - but always worth mentioning to your GP is it's concerning you
I get a feeling that food is stuck due to acid reflux - is this something your GP has considered? I take meds to help reduce acid and avoid trigger foods xxx
HiThank you for the reply yes have acid reflux or GORD as it is known, but up until this episode no major throat discomfort. Pins needles more than likely
Nerve entrapment due to muscle spasm, hopefully Bio Mechanical check next week will determine if current issues solely Fibromyalgia on not.
Hi yes I have pins and needles down my arms and into hands and I get shaky arms sometimes. Also have tingly lips as though I’ve been to dentist and cocaine is wearing off. I was referred to neurologist for this but he rang my GP to say it was fibromyalgia related. Regarding the tingling arms I also wake up with dead hands sometimes. I think it’s related to my neck which has disc damage.
