Eye sensitivity
I know amlodipine for high blood pressure has some eye side effects. not sure about other treatments but may be the case. worth talking to your gp about it.
I have suffered with dry eye syndrom and photosensitivity for several years - no cause that they know of. I get drops from GP, and wear tinted glasses to help with the light sensitivity
I've often read of light, as well as sound and smell oversensitivity, as part of fibro.
Haven't got it myself, my wife has all 3 tho - not fibro, but like me HSP (highly sensitive person).
I'm always thinking about causes & tricks, but no idea myself on this one.
Reading I hear eye, neurological or autoimmune etc. causes should be ruled out.
Sunglasses or phototrophic glasses which get darker the lighter it is are suggested.
If it comes with dry eyes then those could be treated (drops or I prefer manually, cf. youtube tutorials.)
Hi there. I would suggest a trip to your optician. Also, keep a check on your BP - is it usually well controlled? Also see your GP - especially if you also have headaches and / or nausea. X
Yup! Eyes very sun sensitive and get sore and gritty. Also they pour with water in any brightish daylight
