Think I put this on wrong site before, so hope this is correct. Obviously I’m new to website. Just wondered if anyone else gets this strange tight feelings on both arms only lasts about a minute and then they relax but leaves them feeling weak. I’ve had fb for about 10 years and lately it’s been dreadful the stiffness in my joints , but maybe I’ve sat around sewing etc not sure. Or possibly worse with the stress of present situation, who knows. I do also have cervical spondylosis so I guess arms could be due to that

Hi - the fibro-ache in my (mainly lower) arms feels weak too. I haven't noticed tightness or a sudden start and stop for this, but I'll watch out for that.
Is the stiffness really in your joints? I know it looks like it from outside and feels like it, but I realised a few months ago that I can move my joints without problems (altho I sometimes have a sharp arthralgia-pain in all my big joints), so I now describe it as a muscular stiffness.
Mine is not just in the mornings as is often said, I have it all day after keeping the same body position for about 10+ minutes, whether standing, sitting or lying down.
In the rheumatism clinic I'm in for 2 weeks they taught us hand exercises including qi gong balls. Not applicable I thought, my hands are OK, I don't use a PC-mouse & play keyboard.
Then one morning on the way to these exercises I felt the ache and weakness in the lower arms again and on doing them realised they were working exactly on those muscles, so I've decided that I'm gonna take'm seriously after all... I've got the qi gong balls anyway, it's a fun challenge to get two balls in one hand moving without touching each other. Spiralling them outwards is OK, but inwards... ! O.o
