Help

Hi

New symptom for me so just checking its linked to fibro....does anyone wake up with really awful taste in mouth..not metallic...hard to describe....my diet is good and only take painkillers sporadically but take ramapril and thyroxine every day.

Also feel sick and some stomach upset on and off for last 2 weeks

Any new symptom should be checked out, whether it might be linked to fibro or not. There could be a number of reasons for the symptoms you are experiencing.

Yes I realise that,I ve been to the doctors regarding this,no examination or tests etc said it could be because of painkillers and offered me anti depressants!!! So I thought i d check on here for anyone with similar problem,

Hi Kazee,

yes I've got a horrible taste in my throat especially when I wake up.

I'm having lots of issues with reflux throughout the night, mouth & nose extremely dry, constantly clearing my throat, losing my voice & going hoarse.

Suspect it might be

Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (Silent Reflux)

Anything sound familiar?

Yes I get this too I have hiatus hernia..get earaches from it too..I now take my omeprazole at 7 an hour or so before bed to help me through the night instead of on a morning..I think I suffer as I like to sleep on low pillow to stop from getting pains in neck which I find worse to cope with...I get horrible tastes in mouth now with tablets and as pain specialist told me to go on CBD oil I seem to taste that all the time now.. which I suppose Vis better..also have chronic ibs and pains in stomach and sickness and now I'm getting terrible sweats that I cannot control as soon as I stress for the slightest reason

Yes I've started taking my omeprazole twice daily, helping so far🤞

On waiting list for gallbladder surgery & can totally empathise with neck pain, IBS, temp control, sweats

It's awful the minute you start to do anything! Dressing after a shower is just ............. 🥵🥵

Bless you thats really helped me....I just seem to have had huge flare up with new symptoms!!!But it helps to know i m not alone xx

Yes I have this all the time & the feeling sick on & off occasionally I am sick , my doctor told me it’s a fibro symptom 😢
