Hello, I started a weeks course of probiotics recently to help with some stomach problems. Midway through I had a flare-up and now...like magic, I'm struggling to walk.
Looking back, my last few flare-ups have got worse after using a probiotic. Now it could be that stomach problems are an early warning of a flare and the probiotics are a coincidence, so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced negative results from a probiotic?

I don’t know about probiotics but I have taken appetite suppressant tablets and other ‘health’ tablets and it has made me flare. I think anything that is not usual for our body throws us off and increases pain.
One possibility is that the probiotics are helping the digestive system, which means that things get worse before they get better, as toxic substances start to get flushed out, as the hood bacteria battle against the bad bacteria .... which means an exacerbation of symptoms. Maybe you can trial taking less, or take them every other day or once or twice a week. Just a thought
