I’ve been struck down with fibromyalgia . I feel your pain. I take duloxetine and epilem and I find it difficult most days.

I was subjected to domestic violence. But more mental abuse. From my father.

Later in life when my mother was in hospital dying. I found out he wasn’t even my biological father.

My health plummeted. I got arthritis in both knees. Was diagnosed with PTSD .

I did all the counselling. But it didn’t work for me personally. I found it cold and I might as well be speaking to a wall.

Instead I wrote a book. It took me two years. But considering my mother use to help out in a school teaching children to read. It was her dream to write a book. But she never got around to it.

I did it for her. My book is called A Fool’s Circle. I turned it into a psychological thriller because I didn’t want it to be completely about my life. It is semi autobiographical though.

I just wanted to reach out to you all. It is on amazon and has some fantastic reviews.

But I wanted to share my story with you all for FREE.

A lot of you will probably understand why I’m ill and in this position at the moment.

Once he passed away I thought I was free l. But unfortunately that wasn’t to be,

I wish you all well. Be happy. Be safe. And be happy. You never know what’s around the corner. ✌🏻❤️

I am so glad that you got round to writing your book. I hope that in some way it may have helped you.

I have had similar experinses to yourself and although I have had several bad experiences with psychiatrists, psychologists, psychoanalyst, and councillors - I eventually found the RIGHT one. It is worth it to keep going until you discover that there is that person out there who can help. It's difficult but my deamons have gone. I'm still tackling FM but feel in control of the flare Ups through positive thought that it does become manageable again.

I take Duloxatine and Gabapentine and occasionally paracetamol. Not pain free but I can still move and get about. I live with pain but I am so much better off than a lot of people and I just try to keep that at the front of my thought process.

Thanks for your reply. I’m so glad you have managed to find pain relief that works for you.

I went through so many of the ones you’ve mentioned. Gabapentin, Tramadol even morphine.

The duloxetine is by far the best one that works for me. I forget to mention I take co-codomol along with the epilem.

Another symptom forgetfulness. I’m always putting things down and forgetting where I’ve put them. But that’s a small price to pay for being able to get around more. Wishing you all the best. 🙂
