Hi all....I hope everyone is as well as can be and staying safe. I was given an appointment for a pip f2f for March 17th which they cancelled and sent me another one for March 25th instead....I have now recieved a letter this morning informing me that they have cancelled this appointment too but haven't been given me another date. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else as it has left me feeling rather confused and I am now stressing about it even more.
Thank you in advance

hi Cn657 - they were meant to be doing the F2Fs over the phone, and it says on their answer message that if you had an appointment letter to say cancelled stay by your phone for the time and date you had for the appointment as they will most likely call you at that time instead and do the assessment over the phone, they are very hard to call at the moment , i've tried for 2 days in a row and waited an hour and given up!
Hi I heard that all face to face assessments will become written or by phone because of this CORONAVIRUS so don’t worry 😉 it will probably take a bit of time to arrange so meanwhile on the positive front it will give you more time to perfect your application should you need it. Hope this helps regard and hugs 🤗🤗🤗
I think they are doing phone calls and paper assessments. Give them a call and ask. X
Im one of the people having mine by phone on Monday at 8am, but i believe that they have put alot of people on hold until this virus as gone which could be ages.
i still dont see how they can assess me via the phone so when its over i will pop in these forums and let you all know what was said or asked
Hello and welcome, you may not be aware but the recent announcement by the DWP to suspened all face to face assessments and do paper based with telephone questioning for the next three months. As your and all new assessments will be undertaken by this method it is essential that every applicant ensures they have up to date medical records, surporting evidence from physios, health professionals and any information that supports your application.
