Hi I had my p.i.p assessment on 5th February it was my first time to apply

today I had back payment from them out into my account in so happy after

all the horror stories you read about I did post that I taught my appointment

went well and the lady I seen really understood all my health issues as

I have lot more beside fibromyalgia .

Hi Phyllis , that’s great news , what a weight off your shoulders .

That was so quick too !!!!

I had my home assessment 23rd January and I phoned 2 weeks ago and was told a decision letter would be within 2 weeks . So phoned yesterday and now it will be end of April ...13 weeks ! So very annoyed at them and now with the virus , who knows !!!!! .

Hello, have you requested a copy of the assessment report and on receiving it you can see what your award may should be but you still have to wait for the official notification letter from the DWP.

Hi got letter got standard and nothing g for mobility so going to appeal it .

I requested a copy , I also had it recorded and from it i can see enhanced on both .

14 points daily

12 points mobility

Well done you. Looks like enhanced for both, this will make a big difference to your life, if you are thinking of taking a mobility car try several out first making sure it meets your requirements. Easy to acess, can I get things into the boot easily, parking it, manual or auto, upfront payments, colour, optional extras do I need them. Are you going to drive it yourself or partner, ect.

Hi Farmerboy ,

I had a mobility car previously but when the descriptors changed I had to give it back a year early . I was fuming . As a result I have only been out when I have hospital appointments . I went out in May last year when I had an attack of DKA in hospital for 5 days and then diabetic clinic in November 2019 . My Doctor comes to my home .

Looking to get the same car hopefully with adaptations that will then give me some of my life back !!!

Hi Pbyllis I was due to have my f2f tomorrow but I got a text message from pip saying it had been cancelled and I just have to wait for someone to get in touch with me. This is the 2nd time now that they have cancelled on me the 1st time was a couple of hours b4 my f2f the lady who was doing it had to go home and they said they couldn't get another assessor to come and do it, it's all made me bad

Hi phyllis well done that was a quick result I had my f2f 29th jan for my renewal I'm still waiting on the letter to drop hopefully I get it soon my award runs out in April I am currently get enhanced on both xx
