Hi Lauren, I am not better off, the cloud in the brain bothers me a lot, try to stay strong but mission impossible x
This sounds like a sleep problem. The brain gets rid of waste product when it is asleep. Sleep can be problematic when suffering from chronic pain. Lack of sleep can cause problematic body experiences.
You say: "the smallest thing turns me in to a fire of flames". I have had this experience. A McTimony chiropractor showed me that it can be a referred pain issue as a result of pressure on nerves coming from the spine.
There is something called fascia. The first international conference on fascia was at Harvard Medical School in 2007. The have been four international conferences on fascia. It is unfortunate that treatment for many fascia problems requires manual manipulation. Manual manipulation is not something that the conventional medicine has much experience of.
I talk from experience. I have been having McTimony Chiropractic treatment on NHS since 1994. I got hit by a ten tonne bus in 1991 and I live with the aftereffects of this road traffic accident.
We feel emotions in the body. The brain acts on the emotions we feel. By changing movement and postural state we can change both our emotions and the way we think.
My experience is that mindfulness and meditation can be helpful. There is moving meditation which may be helpful. Have a look at:
youtube.com/watch?v=_IFvabl...
The movement enables change in emotions and the thinking. The meditation technique will hopefully quieten the racing brain.
Like all things we can only investigate and see if it is true or not.
Thanks very much will have a look at video x
Oh you poor soul. It can be very distressing to have a reaction to a situation that is so outwith your normal response mode. Pain, pain killers, lack of release from pain, feeling isolated or misunderstood all play a huge part in our daily lives whilst trying to live above the pain and trying to remember who you once were. Be kind to yourself.
When your body reacts with ‘mist’ just remember that you are not yourself, step back from the situation, take a deep breath and carry on. Those of us who live with discomfort and pain on a daily basis need to be kinder to ourselves and mental punishment is just not good for us. I think it can often be the straw that broke the camels back - often an outburst is nothing to do with what’s going on but more to do with what you are having to constantly deal with in on your own.
Big hug.
Thanks so much Hun I appreciate it I have to learn to deal with accepting this that's what's hard the mental side xxxxxx
