hi myagi, i have spondalitis in the top of my spine and that is one of my symptoms, but please dont panic, it may be an exagerated pain through the fibro but to be on the safe side any pain like that should be checked out by your gp even if just to put your mind as ease and to rule out any problems

wishing you well, hgs poppy xx

Hi Myagi just loged on while watching queens concert on tv. Yes I have tenderness same place as you on both sides infact the whole of my skull is tender and get alot of tension headaches, gp said mine was all coneced to fibro. As chris and poppy have said get it checked out with gp as i did. thats the trouble with fibro if something crops up your never sure if its fibro related or not. have a good evening soft hugs xx

Hi I have tender migratory areas on my Skull, and mainly on left hands back area which you mention, it comes and goes over many months.

I believe there are pressure points there on the skull which can get painful with fybro. but as always ask your gp. xx

Hello Myagi, I get the pains you describe and it's migraine related in my case. However, it is always best to check your symptoms with your GP to rule anything else out. I hope you get relief from this very soon, take care. :) :)

My GP (who is also a consultant rheumatologist - how lucky was that?!) tells me that Fibro is considered to stem from the cerebral cortex which is hidden just beneath the bone across the base of the skull (the occipital bone) and that it is not unusual to a) feel pain from there, but also b) (as with me) to feel that if I could just make it feel NORMAL there then the rest of me would be fine. (sadly not the case, but I can dream)
