It can be associated with fibromyalgia, but do you drink enough water? The recommended amount is 2 litres, minimum, per day.

It can be part of fibromyalgia, but if its a new symptom or getting worse it is best to get out checked out as there could be another cause for it xxx

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and my muscles constantly twitch and cramp. So it can be a symptom.

Hi, absolutely! My thigh muscles are like bricks...and nothing to do with my fitness levels ;-).

I get cramps elsewhere too, but it is my thighs that are the worst.

I have also started to get a saw jaw and weird cramps. Trying a mouth guard at the mo.

Weird stuff. Falling apart!!

All the best, keep strong and laugh when you can :-)

I get really bad cramps in my R leg in my foot, thigh and calf muscle. When I tell my husband he just says “is there any part of you that doesn’t hurt”. He just doesn’t understand. I was awake all Sunday night in pain, I did say to my husband at some point in the night how much pain I was in but he just went back to sleep. That’s all I want is a bit of sympathy and understanding, I’m not asking for much. To make it worse I’m the main breadwinner if I don’t work nothing gets paid. A bit of sympathy and a cup of tea goes a long way. Thank you for listening to me moaning I just down in mood at the minute.

Sorry to say that cramps are part of Fibro Territory; My GP suggested a glass of Tonic water (or a G&T!), and it does seem to help. Another thing that helps is Bitter lemon, Both contain a small amount of Quinine, which helps with cramp. I personally prefer the bitter lemon, but they both work. My GP was reluctant to put me on Quinine tablets as they can cause some pretty nasty side effects.

Yes , yes and yes , really bad 😢💜
