Well I have had an awful month and glad to see the back of September. My nan passed away which made me flare a lot and my fibromyalgia was causing me so much grief. Now I’ve been absent a lot from work and they know about my disabilities. On Wednesday they sacked me without putting anything in place that occupational health had advised. Does anyone have any advice? My union rep is working on appealing and tribunal. But I don’t know if I can even walk back into work now. 🤦🏼♀️😭

Goodbye September.
Hi
I'm so sorry work have treated you so appallingly. You could definitely have them for unfair dismissal. Is your union rep good, if he/she are then they will know what to do and help you accordingly. If you need to pm me that's find. Where did you work if you don't mind me asking? Thinking of you. Please take care of yourself Lynne
Sounds like your union rep needs to speak to their legal department.
Really sorry to read this, sad when we loss someone close in our life’s. I hope your union rep chases this up for you, nobody asks to have fibro and any other health conditions. Look after yourself and hope this is sorted very soon for you. Let us know the outcome xxx
Speak to ACAS immediately - you only have so long to register for unfair dismissal. They are really helpful - been through it with my husband. Their advice line is very good. hope you get some redress. Keep us informed.
As Dinkie says, contact ACAS. I was an employer and found them helpful with a problem.
You are due compensation—- your employer cannot just sack you without going through several stages.
Sounds like you have a very strong case, definitely go for unfair dismissal. Sorry for your loss, I hope you feel brighter very soon. Xx
