I take 60mgs at night and it seems to work, with no side effects. I take additional pain relief as well, as Duloxetine on it's own is not enough.

I took one low dose tablet with breakfast and felt very dizzy and nauseous (way more than usual) I didn’t like how it made me feel and was scared to take another tablet. I seem to react quite strongly to medication though.

Maybe it would have been better if I took it at night.

Hi

I was on Duloxetine, this is the worst drug I have ever taken, reasons being when you try to come off it, I had the shakes felt sick, I basically felt like a real druggy.

My GP and my specialist have offered me to go back on this and I said absolutely not!!

Never again.

Hope it works for you. People react in different ways to different medication so you could be fine on it.

Hi!! I am on 80mg and have been taking Duloxtine since March this year, it takes the edge of the pain away but not completely. I take it at night before I go to bed.

Hi, i am on 120mg duloxetine daily and don't really see any difference to the sertraline. I take 900mg gabapentin and came off amytriptiline as I couldn't get up in the mornings. To be honest I don't find any better than the others, even the dosages as I still get pains and aches etc that I have no control over.

Have been on Duloxetine and Amitriptyline together since 2012 with No Adverse effects.

Citalopram did Not agree with me at all.

Give yourself at least six weeks for the drugs to 'stabilise' in your system unless you have a very serious reaction to it.

Your doctor will initially start you on a low dose which should be quite tolerable.

I'm so keen to be moved onto Gabapentin or Pregabalin but my GP is digging his heels in because I'm relatively stable and he doesn't want to rock the boat.

All the very best going forward. Just remember that there's no cure for this horrible illness and most of the 'coping' meds are basically trial and error as we all react differently to different things.

Thank u , the citalopram worked great with me but they couldn’t find a numerological one that worked with it. It’s awful isn’t . It’s mad how different meds work for different people xxx

I take 120mg a day but have been on that for depression longer then I've had fibro. I don't have any side effects.
