Hi I have been on Duloxetine 30mg for 2 and half weeks and so far it’s been ok. My mood has been better and I have a lot more energy. However the last few days I have been feeling very low and tired and really not myself. Does this mean I need a higher dose? Has anyone else been having similar symptoms? Xx

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hello there I have been on 60mg of duloxtene for a year now, I have to say it has worked really well for me, I would ask to speak to your doctor even a call back and just ask for advice . Lots of viral bugs going about they can make you feel tired and not 100per cent. Hi,

Like Yasmintina I have been on 60mg Duloxetine for almost two years. I don't think that because you appear to have gone backwards, slightly, you would necessarily need to increase your dose. I would get my gp to check me over for any other deficiencies or bugs which may be going around. Good luck

Ok did you start at 30mg? If so how do you know when you need 60mg?

I started at 60mg, it was to help me reduce Morphine.

Hi, how much morphine where you taking and how have you reduced it? What effect has the duloxetine had for you? Thanks

I was on 100mg Zomorph twice a day, plus 10ml per four hours Oramorph for breakthrough pain. I am now on 60mg Zomorph twice a day, 60mg Duloxetine at night and only take Oramorph very occasionally. The Duloxetine has had no side effects other than some weight gain.

Hi i started on 30mg for 1 week then increased to 60mg it has cleared my headspace abit but not the pain aspect! go back to gp to discuss upping your dosage maybe? 👍

I was recently started on 30mg then increased to 60mg after 2 weeks. I did not have depression when i started it but soon i began to feel low and crying all the time. I reduced it and felt better. However the weight gain is ridiculousi cannot stop so am going to come off it. It helps with pain but im fat enough to start with. Bmi now of 30 is not good.

I was ok on 60 mg a day but was put up to 60 twice a day , I started to get very bad leg and foot cramps. When I looked at the information sheet it said that I shouldn't be taking it with Trazadone so I have stoped taking it and the cramps have stopped.

Ok now you have mentioned cramps I have got cramps in my right leg and foot twice since starting Duloxetine 2 and half weeks ago. I don’t take any other medication with Duloxetine. Still feel very low today.

Hi, I have started on 30mg for 3 weeks and the hospital raised it to 60mg, for depression. I was also told it helps with fibromyalgia but as yet I haven't found much benefit, I've been on them for 3 months so whether it just takes time? My prescription bag is growing bigger and bigger don't know about anyone else... but I think it's worth you speaking to GP and asking the question x

I have been on Duloxetine for 18 months with little side effects, though recently I started a new job which unfortunately I only lasted a week before the condition came back with a vengeance. I saw a doctor on an emergency appointment and she increased it to 90mg (60 in a morning, 30 at night) and it's made me incredibly tired. One thing that came out of my many appointments was that my vitamin D levels were very low and as Vitamin D is very important for your body to absorb other vitamins, I urge people to have theirs checked.

Not what you're looking for?
