Aching all over

Fibro as bad as it can this damp weather diesant help either. To think once over how fit and healthy I was . Never did I think I’d be like this

Aw thank you, iv banged up the central heating and put an layer on,ie my thermals,had plenty of hot drinks, funny u should say that but I woke up cold to during the night, I don’t know wether u live alone ,but I do since my wonderful hubby passed,I forget I’m getting older and the damp will get into my body now, iv found today horrid so far the worst being between my shoulder blades,I long for bedtime, xxxthanks for ur reply love,very much appreciate it xx

He was my 2 nd husband we were married 17 years. My soul mate. My son died 5 years after this. But I kept going. But like today when I have a lot of pain I sometimes wish I could join them

Hi Megs64 and Mydexter, I hope you both have a better day today. I find my hot water bottle really helps take the edge off the pain. I sometimes have one on my back and one on my leg! Stay warm and take care.

Hi many thanks, yes I want to put yesterday behind me it was that bad,didn’t sleep well but at least I rested,today is another day,my friend has made me a wheat bag to put in microwave,xxx

Totally agree. I was shocked at how quickly I lost muscle tone and condition. My last job before I retired was in an Art College. I was happily climbing the stairs to the second floor just before the summer break.

When I went back for the Autumn Term, I could no longer get up the stairs and had to use the lift. In just a few weeks!

Naturally, it has gotten worse since then, as I'm now dividing my time between a wheelchair and a rollator. I used to be a sporty type, horse riding, archery, fencing, Aikido, long walks, camping with my kids, doing Living History displays.

I miss all that, but must admit, I'm no longer young, so Age has a supporting role!

Hi have u heard of costocondroitis. It’s inflammation of the rib cage. It’s flared up bad hadn’t had it for awhile but boy it’s making its presence known
