Hi I’m Zippy I’m new on here and am just introducing myself as I have been diagnosed with FM in the last few months. After years and years of not feeling well and never knowing why. I also have double bubble with low thyroid which I believe represents the same symptoms so its very hard to know what’s what so I’m here to learn I hope from others!

Hi Zippy09, I’ve just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia as well, I have arthritis and thought it was that just getting worse. I know how you feel it’s a bit overwhelming but on the other hand at least we know why we haven’t felt well for so long.

I have only been recently diagnosed myself. Best advice I can give is keep away from Doctor Google as you only end up frightening yourself. Be careful about wonder diets and products being advertised for fibromyalgia they can be of little use and expensive. This is a very good forum with lots of help. Remember there is no such thing as a daft question as I think I ask most of them. Welcome.

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., Morning and welcome, yes it is hard getting diagnosed sometimes and then having other conditions on top as having fibro is enough, you will read a lot of experiences on the forum, good place to have a chat, many members have multiple conditions, I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, fibro , cfs, over the last 10 years, friendly bunch here and always good to read posts and helpful tips and information along the way, I’ve posted a link above if you would like to lock your posts as only our community can see.
