Hi there :) welcome to the group. There is so many symptoms connected to Fibro it can sometimes feel like a minefield out there that's for sure.

If you've had your throat checked by your doctor and all tests are ok it may well be related. Have you spoke to your dentist about it.

Some teeth problems I believe can also cause throat problems just a thought you may care to check out.

I believe throat problems could be connected to Fibro, and also voice loss, which I have had for more than 30 years or so. I have just had complete voice loss, with painful throat and chest now for 7 weeks, in total relapse. Just now getting some weak sound back again, but it I strain too much, then breathing becomes a problem too, and sore throat.

I have throat problems connected to fibro. At times my voice becomes very husky, no jokes now please, :) and sometimes it feels very dry or I have a tickly niggle. I was recently referred to an ENT specialist who looked down my throat with a camera. He asked me questions whilst the camera was down my throat and then said the symptoms are definitely being caused by fibro. Apparently he could see the tightening of my vocal cords, other than normal, as I was speaking. He said as soon as it happens stop talking, it's your bodies way of telling you, you need to rest your throat. So I would suggest if you are worried then ask for an ENT referral.

I do. I have issues with swallowing and food getting stuck in my throat. I think there is a link as when I told my doctor he was asking me more questions about it.
