throat trouble

does anyone have trouble with their throat for example i have throat spasms and sometimes find it difficult to swallow.I have often gone into a choking coughing spasm with this .

I dont personally have that problem but I do sometimes find myself swollowing continually because my mouth and throat are so dry.

Im sure I have read somewhere though of someone having the same problem, maybe even on here, my memory is terrible!

Yes this has been happening to me a lot just recently thank goodness someone else has it and yes my memory is so bad too I sometimes find myself sitting with my several packs of pills in my hand not knowing if Ive just taken one or not!!

This can be a sign of something like reflux or dry mouth can be a side effect from medications or a sign of another condition, such as allergies or Sjogrens Syndrome.

I get that and the spasms are horrid and scary.I have sjogrens syndrome and was told thats what causes it. when my mouths dry so does my throat ans spasm.Iv been sat with a glass of water drinking it no dryness but still spasms.I do get them at night too my own doctor said you know your throat wont close right up with it so relax when it happens? when it starts i drink a cold glass of milk and try and relax. I know iv not been much help tho sorry xxx
