I have just had 7 good days, apart from morning stiffness,I was free from pain and sleeping through out the night , and felt energetic, but last night the pain returned which interrupted my sleep and hence I’m back feeling exhausted 😩
Is this normal to have good short term periods only to relapse again ?
Hi there, nice meet you yes it is normal to have these short term remissions or even long ones. I have had Fibro for about 35 years and would get good spells lasting about 3 months. Then Boom I'd feel like I'd been hit by a train. All I can say is enjoy those symptom free times during these periods and try not to over do things and your remission may last longer 🤞

Yes I read and for me personally this does happen, great when we have good periods not so nice when we have pain and tiredness I normally rest through it until I start to creep up again. Take care x
I cannot determine what is normal or not. I am asking the question does one think or suspect that the pain issue is a brain control issue? When all goes well the brain sends out the right commands. When things are not going well it is because there brain is sending out faulty commands that demands the body does the wrong things?
Ive had Fibro for around 23 years or so now, I used to get good bouts of remission, this last five- 6 years though, I’ve been really ill, and getting worse, but I was diagnosed with Addisons two years ago and Hypothyroidism nearly 4 years ago, and these have not helped with my Fibro at all. I don’t seem to get any relief these days.
I’m looking at all my vitamin and mineral levels at the moment as being deficient in these can exacerbate pain and Fibro symptoms, have you thought about getting these tested?
