Hi I am Julia I am new on the site. I have had Fibromyalgia for several years now. I suffer quite badly when it occurs which at the moment I am suffering really badly. My whole body just aches and I am constantly tired. I thought the heat would help, but in fact it makes it worse. I never know how long this will last.

It will be lovely to chat to other people who suffer with it.

Welcome.. youre now among fellow sufferers, all suffering from different aspects of Fibro. There are a lot of people here with a lot of knowledge that may help from diet to meds. I know what youre going through.. this heat is unbearable. im working in an office with aircon, and i have a fan on fulll blast in front of me...however, when i walk out of the room, its like walking into a sauna. My heat regulation is all over the place as it is. cold one minute, hot the next.....

Thanks for replying. I am constantly tired. I was put on medication but I unfortunately I did not get with the medication. So I try and work through the pain. I also do a lot of walking which helps for short periods.

It is lovely to hear other people’s stories.

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hello there and welcome I think you will find the forum a good place to have a chat and read other peoples posts as well, gosh yes the heat I do like the Summer but this week has been a lot to cope with, it has definitely slowed me up I know but looking at others without the fibro they have too , constant tiredness is horrid I know , I got diagnosed with cfs as I was 100 percent sure I had this as well (was not easy as the two conditions are very similar) yes I have read here members are worse with the heat and our temperature control as I call it can be worse with extreme heat or cold. I have posted a link if you would like to lock your posts asconly our community can see, take care.

Hi Yasmintina

Lovely to hear how you are coping with the condition. You would think the heat would help but unfortunately it seems to my situation worse.

I will look at the forum. Take care
