Chest psin
It could be costochondritis. I’ve seen posts on here in the past about this. I have it, mine is the result of radiotherapy, but I think you can just get it.
I also have pain other places in my body too but it all started at the chest z
Hi Teddy, I have it too...My doctor said it will go away... it seemed to ease up, but I find that it had never gone away. If I am under stress and anxiety...it can be to the point that I am afraid to take a deep breath. What are your feelings about this?
My fibro started off as chest wall pain which was diagnosed as costochondritis. I sympathise as it is very painful.x
Yes, mine do. It's not nice, sorry you have to cope with it. Hope you get a restful sleep.
Yes! Very sensitive around the sternum especially when horrible cat decides to walk on me there! I’ve read it’s one of the Fibro pressure / pain points so that explains it. I thought it was just something to do with my lung cancer but no... =D
Nb this doesn’t mean you might have cancer in any way at all.
Hi
You are an inspiration, you've been through so much.
I was diagnosed with costochondritis , I think it's related to my fibro. Please take care Lynne
Hope you are well! Take care , I think it’s defo linked to Fibro too xxx
I have had costochondritis going on 10 years now my doctor put me on a gout medication called colchicine about 2 years ago and it really seems to help. I still get flares where I can't breathe because it's excruciating oh, and God forbid my husband touches me or my kids hug me, but the flares are less frequent now because of the medication . Hope you feel better soon gentle hugs
I also get that - my chest feels tender. I think this is a normal Fibromyalgia symptom.
But I also get chest pain that goes right through me from front to back and hurts when I breathe in, which so far has been diagnosed as Pericarditis (inflammation around the heart) with 2 hospital stays this month.
Hi
My hubby had that back 2006!! He was a lot of pain, thought he was having a heart attack, he's luckily not had it since. Please take care Lynne
Yes when it first started I was told in A&E they thought I had a heart attack! Spent a night on ITU cardiac ward then next day told it was due to inflammation. I also have previously diagnosis of Lupus so not sure yet if that’s the cause.
I have started to get pain underneath my breasts at my ribs and it's so painful. I hope it isn't permenant!
