30mg is a low dose. 60mg is more usual to combat pain. See verywellhealth.com/cymbalta...

Be careful what you wish for....I’ve been on them for 8 weeks now and mine are working. They help a little with the pain but I’m all over the place when I take them. I fall, trip over things and fall asleep at the drop of a hat. Sometimes I just can’t keep y eyes open despite not being tired and straining my muscles to keep them open

Hi there, I think 30mg is the lowest dose to start with(someone correct me if I am wrong) I started straight away with 60mg and I think for me proberly 2 weeks to feel a change , it won’t hurt to ask for a call back from your doctor should you not be able to get in for an appointment, everybody can react different when starting a new med but the advice from your gp will give you a piece of mind xx

That’s a plan as you might start to see in the next 2 weeks an improvement, I was initially put on it for anxiety which has worked a treat, I think that came about as have cfs/fibro/treated sleep apnea and felt so poorly for awhile I was not coping . Take care xx
