Hi this is not really fibromyalgia related but I wanted to share I recently ordered some diet pills from a site that looks like it is promoted by Dragons den it advert showed a price of £ 22 each by 3 get 2 free. The conformational e-mail showed the same price the charge on my card statements showed a payment of £151. I have had a look on the internet and its happened to others I just wanted to worn others. I am going to see if my card can get me a refund. The odd part is I know I saved the conformational e-mail just in case and now can't find it ! Hope you are all feeling as well as you can Olivia
Dragons Den: Hi this is not really... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Dragons Den
unfortunately a lot of these websites are scammer sites ... and while they may look like they are being promoted by Dragons Den that also may be a scam to make you think you can trust them (i know a lot of sites were being shut down for saying that Martin Lewis (the money man) had recommended them when he hadn;t - so suspect the same may happen with dragons den. hopefully you can get a refund on your card xxx
Hi yes get on to the bank as fraudulent they can do charge back also if debit card but over £100 they deal with.
Also ring trading standards and police have a scam number for things like this
If emails check sent/delivered and other folders
plus also ring your bank Now! as often with scammers they will continue to take money as have your details so the bank can block them if aware as they can set up a repeat payment or regular.
They will also say if they want you to contact police for a crime ref.
Banks have a 24/7/out of hours number just net search or it will be on your statement/card often as a lost card number
Thanks I have contacted my credit card to block them I really just wanted to give the heads up to anyone else
