Hi , two doctors have now said I have fibromyalgia but can't send me to a rheumatologist as my thyroid markets are slightly raised, they said a rheumatologist wouldn't see me they would say it's my thyroid. Hi there Clara, obviously I can only offer my own personal opinion. But if my doctor had said this to me, I would definitely be pushing that GP for a more divinity answer and further in depth thyroid testing. Xx

You need to sort your thyroid as that could well be the cause.
So has either of them referred you urgently to an Endocrinologist? Make sure you get fully tested (Thyroid Antibodies tests and Thyroid Function Tests ). Ask about having your Adrenals checked out too, before being started on Thyroxine replacement medication. Ask for some nutrients levels to be tested also: Vitamin D, Calcium, B12, Folate and Ferritin because you may have some deficiencies that need addressing with prescribed supplements.

The rheumatologist I saw said he couldn't help with fybromyalgia as it isn't rheumatism.
