Hello I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by my go 5 years ago after blood results for auto immune diseases came back clear
The last year my symptoms have really progressed and I have gained new symptoms which has meant my mobility is significantly affected. My legs are very weak and I am.unable to walk far due to the weakness, I struggle with stairs and uphill. I have recently noticed I am unable to lift my legs due to the same weakness I physically am unable to lift them.
Does anyone else suffer with this and what have you done that helps?

Oh yes.....although the weakness came on almost immediately along with the severe pain. Even before my fibro came on full blast in 2009 I had "episodes" of my legs turning into jello sticks periodically that had me wondering what the heck was going on. I'd say that was happening 2-3 years before.
Thanks for your reply that's what I find odd I've only started experiencing onset of worsening or new symptoms this year up until then my fibro was just pains in the legs and occasionally the arms. Now it's affected my mobility and I have pins and needs and burning alongside it.
Have you found anything that has helped? I am having to hoist my self up stairs with my arms if there is no lift available and getting uphill and out of bed or a car is becoming difficult.
Stairs were horrible for me too. That was another symptom that I had long before the fibro came on full blast. For a few years I noticed that doing stairs was becoming harder and harder. Sometimes I had to be pushed from behind. Nothing helps me much. I take tramadol and percocet and the two just knock the pain down a notch or two. I have tried everything else no no avail.
