Hi. Yes i suffer with balance issues but i take betahistine to help with that. It doesnt cure the problem but i think it helps a little. Sometimes i end up with vertigo if it gets too bad .

I use a hikers walking stick, it’s not for everyone I know but immediately I gave it a try I felt enabled not disabled. I explain it like I’ve got a third leg which aides my balance, strength and fatigue issue which is a big problem for me. I’m 50 years so I really don’t care what others think . It HELPS. 🙋🏻

I use a pole when I need to. I am 50 too and don't care what people think. I also take betahistine as I am getting blurry vision and dizziness/feeling I am falling to my left side which is my worst side. Xx

If you get nowhere with ENT ask to be referred to a Neurologist. I got more sense out of him than anybody.

When I went to ENT they did loads of balance tests and another hearing test then diagnosed Ménière’s. I was told you fall to the side where the balance issue is which in my case was the right ear.

One of the things that kicks my funny Head/balance problem is looking and scrolling on the I pad and then glancing over at the telly. I was told by ENT that the eyes play such a big part in keeping us balanced and that’s why I was going dizzy because the eyes are working overtime to send messages to the brain. It doesn’t scare me as much now I know what’s happening.
