I just saw a Medscape article that says a Harvard Med and Swedish research institute study shows brains of fibromyalgia patients have evidence of inflammation. Very preliminary, small study but article mentions this should help remove stigmas and possibly lead to better treatment. Sorry I don't know how to copy link. Also know this won't help sufferers now!!

it reminds me that we were going to put an article up about it as I sought some advice from our medical advisory board. In brief, they had some qualifications on the research and the claims going a bit further than they should.
Will try and get something put together so that others can read.
So, do you mean the claims are not as good as they sound. I got really excited when I read this piece of research. It made me feel hopeful of new developments and treatments.
Thank you for the further info. The Medscape reference just appeared today! I'm new to a dx of fibromyalgia, but have a long history of dxes of autoimmune diseases. JoA
