Pip medical yet again

I was awarded PIP for three years yet before 2 years are up I am being reviewed Filled in forms with help from citizens advice sent it a Drs letter evidence etc

Yet today received a letter for a face to face. I am beside myself how with a illness like fibromyalgia and hyper mobility am I expected to get better ?? In fact I am worse I am so stressed 😩 help would be welcomed

Hi, I have had the same thing happen to me. I rang up Capita to query if this was correct as I still had 10 months to go of my initial award. They said that they do it early so that there isn't a gap in benefit. A likely story!

I have been to my new face to face to face and it was like it was a brand new claim . Ridiculous .

Like you my multiple problems are not going to improve , so why put people through this every little while. Taking someone with me helped, other than that keep complaining to your MP, and disability groups.

I'm sorry I have no solution for you, but wanted you to know you are not alone. The whole sorry scheme is not fit for purpose in my opinion, and must be costing more than the old system, which contrary to the hype did have checks built in to it.

Thank you Tess11 they shouldn’t be allowed to do this I agree as I have over a year and a half left on my original award they might as well just give everyone a year because they do this. I am afraid that they could potentially take it away from me and Iam worse. X

I had the same thing happen to me. I was told they send out forms a year before, just because they can. I had to go to a face to face appointment, wasn't allowed a home visit, despite having one last time, and I am worse now. It just doesn't make sense, they just seem to do what they like. At least it worked out in the end, they didn't stop my pip, and I also got mobility, which I didn't before. Do not worry, I am sure it will turn out okay. They shouldn't be allowed to cause all this stress to people, as it just makes us worse, which they can't seem to understand. Good luck. x

All are being done a year early and most get called in for assessment

try not to stress about it as its outside your control .
