Pip assessment

Hi all, wondering how my assessment is going to go down, when I filled in my pip form I was on a bunch of meds , just after sending it off dr told me to stop them as they weren’t doing any good, I started taking cbd oil which I don’t see much difference in my pain , my assessment is on 17 sept, my feeling is they will think no meds no illness , my last report from these wonderful people started , she didn’t look unkempt or tired and I could do basic maths and coul tell him my meds , which I didn’t I’d written them down and handed it to him , this so stressful full , I feel that if you’d gone through a tribunal and won that should be it there should be this carry on , three people decide this a dr , judge, and Dwp rep for disability , sorry for the rant but I’m so up tight and stressed and in so much pain this morning not a good combination

Thanks, I really don’t think there is any nice one, last assessment I was told only answer the questions that’s all he wanted, it doesn’t help when this goes on for months, it just adds to our problems , fingers crossed this doesn’t go to a tribunal again

Good luck hope all goes well. Strange I was just looking at the comments from the assessor for my PIP assessment I think when I got the letter I was so dazed I didn't take it all in. I got points where I never expected to get points and did 'nt get points where it is obvious I should have scored but in the end it came to the number of points I thought it was fair I was rewarded so didn't complain but it just shows how topsy turvy these assessments are. Let us know how you get on.x

Im always honest and tell them when my medication changes, it only takes a phone call , on your forms you signed that you give them permission to contact your GP at any time , its not worth getting caught and ending up being prosecuted.

Hi it was put into forms that med were to end that week so alls good there it’s just their perception of the reason of it

You origionally said after sending away the forms your Dr decided on you stopping the tablets as they werenot doing any good, now you say you filledthe gorms in saying you were stopping them, so this doesnt make sense to me, why even bother mentioning them in the first place. Tobe honest ive never known anyone on pip not to be a some prescribed medications , most of us cant manage without taking maximum doses of strong pain medication
