I had to find a new opticians, today I met a lovely optometrist who was genuinely interested in me. I finally felt I could tell her about my eyeballs jumping, I hadn't asked before because I didn't feel I could.
Jumping 👀 eyeballs are caused by the nerve endings misbehaving and this is caused by fibromyalgia! Does anyone else have this phenomenon
I have what I call zaps when it feels like someone has given me an electric shock normally in my back but it can be hands or feet. Other times I swear someone is sticking a red hot knife in me. I know now like you it is the nerve endings playing upI just wished they would gland play elsewhere.
The older I get the more symptoms of fibromyalgia shows up. It's getting harder and harder to cope. I am a Christian and without my faith I don't know what I would do
Is it your eyes themselves (nystagmus) or jumping vision (oscillopsia)? They both feature in people with neurological conditions. I had the latter during my last big flare, a few months ago. Started with floaters, then blurry vision, and finally, the dancing vision. GP increased pregabalin dose, which seems to have taken care of that for now.
