I've had fibromyalgia for about 11 years now coupled with the fact i also have an under active thyroid and lactose intolerance it makes things fun to say the least. I have 6 cats, three guinea pigs, 4 degus. I love my animals wouldn't be without them

Couldn't agree more. When things were tough as a youngster and I was relentlessly bullied at school my parents scrimped and saved and bought me a pony which was kept in a local farmer's field. Gosh the difference he made to me was amazing both physically and mentally. He gave me years of companionship. Now I have my dogs who have made me so many friends over the years after I started to compete with them. All my foster children were encouraged to build relationships with the various animals here from hamsters to parrots to rabbits and guinea pigs to an elderly pony until he passed. Enjoy your pets!

Aww! They are so cute! I love piggies and their little bubble and squeaky voices :) the long haired ones are super cute too - coping with fibromyalgia for over a decade and with thyroid issues at the same time -

What little darlings, so adorable. I miss not having pets, they really do make a house a home, and they are always so pleased to see you.

Best wishes

I was seriously suicidal a few months ago. My partner bought me 2 kittens. Can't do it now; they depend on me! Plus company, purrpurrs, entertainment, distraction...

I think a lot of us are still around because of our furry family members. Any idea how to upload a photo.

Ahh , yes they are lovely company , I went to a farm the other week and I made a noise at this goat it came up to me and we were making similar noises to each other , my daughter and four year old grandson found it so funny but every time I made noises the goat came back with more, my daughter now calls me the goat whisperer, I suppose it did look funny but I’ve a mad sense of humour on a good day x
