Surgery was offered to me at one point. I refused, I'm agoraphobic and the 12-month rehab scared the hell out of me, let alone the rest of it.
I have been sat here trying to understand what is it that makes us so different when it comes to pain and healing. I know fibromyalgia has a lot to do with nerve endings, I can't understand why it has to complicate everything in our bodies and lives.
A family member recently diagnosed with dementia had a community dementia nurse come to visit, during this visit he told us that.. the changes in what we eat is why there has been an increase in dementia cases. He claimed the change over from full fats to semi-skimmed products.. or Butters to low-fat marg introduced back in the 80s or so is the cause of the increase in dementia. So now I'm wondering if there are other changes in our lifestyles that is behind all this for fibromyalgia.
Anyone else aware or know of anything that could possibly cause?
