'Chatting' with Crazy Horse about real blessings. You may have needed to be here and understand our family dynamics, but picture the scene. I have, denananana Batmannnnn!!! 2 year old grandson, Spiderman (of course). My mobility is very poor. Anyway, I had to launch denanana Batmannnn, as you do, collided with Spiderman and I tried to change their flight path to avoid landing on his head but clipped him instead. Sharp intake of breath, he looked really bemused and said Ouch. " I'm so sorry", daughter:- it's ok mum he's not hurt (I know) me: Not the point he could've been! At which point he's rolling around the floor laughing at us with his own joke that he kept to himself. Simple memories worth holding on to.
Most of my posts on here are frankly usually sad. Distorted viewpoint, I know to a degree the site is here for info. & support, these times are incredibly precious for me and def. keep me moving forward, and so I just wanted to explain a bit.
I do hope everyone can find their own blessings in this complicated world.
Thank you so much to everyone I've 'chatted' to over the last few years. Your support is much valued, coming from understanding of similar problems. I'm beginning to muddle up, so g'night to all. Tulip xx

It takes a village. We each have our up days and our down days. Yes, we are here to find support, to lend support, to help one another along our paths.
I agree with all the above. Just 2 nights ago I was remembering a poem I wrote at age 17 about a happy memory of my dad. So I wrote 4 more that day, which need lots of refinement yet, of other moments in time with him. Some are really bad as he could be abusive emotionally and sometimes physically, but most of the moments were of happy or kinda sad times.
I di. I sent the bunch to my sister and she said she almost cried. Her daughter wants my sister to dig up their old love letters! I am sending her scans of some cute pics my romantic mom took of their first apartment together.
you sound as if you have talent, and def. touched the people close to you. I enjoyed poetry appreciation back in the mists of time at secondary school, but was never satisfied with my own efforts and gave up.
Tulip thank you for sharing this blessing of a moment. I have visions of him rlling around on the floor laughing at you no with you! It make me smile to share your precious memory thank you.
Fibro is Grim but it also makes more aware of each other and we are a really nice group of people !
I have 2 grandsons, aged 2 & 7, & happy to be laughed at or with; I call it 'Success'! They love to come see Nana (I dont know why, but I always refer to Nana in the 3rd person). they know almost instinctively my limitations, but still a good time is had by all. I know there is a price to pay later but they dont know that.
