You will qualify for 'vehicle tax reduction' - 50% of the road tax - if you receive the mobility component of PIP at the standard rate. You cannot get this for the lower rate of DLA mobility component.
I am on the same but NO car tax allowance, however my car is Toyota Aygo which are No Tax for the life of the vehicle, very cheap to buy, very good on fuel, low insurance (provided you are a good driver with no penalties and claims) I think your info is not right.
I,wondering if motability allows this?otherwise I think I might not get it coz my car is road tax free for life of the vehicle..I noticed when I took car to RRG there were many 66 reg on resale no car. Tax for life it may have been a 66 reg year offer..
