It is not based on what illnesses you have, but on what things you can do; for example, if you can walk less than 20 metres, or have pain when you walk 20 metres or you cannot walk another 20 metres after a short rest, then you will get a certain number of points. If you can walk 20 metres as previous, but cannot walk 50 metres,(using the same criteria) then you will get points, but not as many as the one who can't do 20 metres. All your points are added up and then you are given a score. The score is transferred to a chart and you are awarded a sum according to the number of points you have "achieved".

My wife gets the full mobility component. Whoever told you that you would not get it because you can drive is talking nonsense. My wife drives. Personally I would go to tribunal.

That was P.I.P that has said that and saying can walk further than 20 meters even though I use brace and crutches and have to keep stopping

Appeal, appeal, appeal ! Dont let them get away with this. Did you have your assessment audio recorded ?

The issue some people who are applying for PIp is that you could worse off and loose a benefit you had previously.

All the best x
