HI mason I'm so sorry to hear of your health issues, Fibro is a terrible disease. I wonder what your GP is doing to help? Are you on any meds or anything? The choking and swallowing thing sounds terrifying. Take care of yourself and keep in touch. Many of us are suffering in the same or similar way xx
HELLO POODLE MUM MY OLD DOCTOR WAS USELESS AT THE MOMENT I AM HAVING A LOT OF PAIN IN THE BALLS OF MY FEET ITS AGONY I CANT WALK DUE TO PAIN I AM IN A WHEELCHAIR SINCE HAVING FIBRO I HAVE FOUNT THAT I GET VERY BAD SIDE AFFECTS TO MEDICATION I DID GOOLE 100 SYMPTOMS OF FIBROMYALGIA AND IT HELPED ME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I HAD I KNOW THAT TRAUMA BRINGS ON FIBRO ,
Yes, I agree, we think mine was triggered by a huge infection I suffered after my second child was born. I hope you have had help with the effects of the attack and subsequent trauma, some good counselling hopefully. I looked at the same list of symptoms and was surprised, and a bit relieved tbh, to find some of them - such as incessant itching. It kind of made me feel like I wasn't actually losing my mind.
I get pain in the sides of my feet, so not as bad as in the balls I imagine, I really hope you are having a better day. Gentle hugs xx
I’m sooooooo very sorry about your assault😳. I’ve been assaulted numerous times and even nearly stabbed to death. I fully understand the gambit of emotions that such an ordeal can create within the mind. It sounds like you have internalized the trauma resulting in numerous health problems.
If I may ask...have you ever seen anyone for the PTSD you surely must have given the acute anxiety you are going through???
Are you on any meds for anxiety or depression??? A lot of symptoms can be created from high anxiety and depression levels. I know about this as my parents and brother and paternal grandma all have issues with this and experienced life with their overwhelming trauma and impact.
It would be a great benefit to you if you could inquire via posting here about who is the best doctor in your area to see.
Then go get counseling and meds to help you with all you’re dealing with. There is no shame in this just in case you might think so.
Also...do you have close family or friends to help you get through the worst of things???
If your mind is under duress your body will be too as it is the main hub that controls the rest of your bodily functions. Like a car if the motor shuts down it doesn’t work. Treat the mind and the rest of things should get easier. Also it may take a while to get the right combo of meds to aid you with your anxiety etc. so don’t get discouraged. Be strong don’t give up brighter days are coming.
So true, @honeybug - since I came to terms with having Fibro and understanding what it does, understanding the pain etc. my mental health is actually much better, I do take a lot of care of it mind you, understanding the triggers etc. is helpful too. Good mental health is so important, I really hope @mason is getting some help.
