I am seemingly in a good state now . I've had cortisone shots in both my hips and it helps my pain levels . why i don't know but I'm glad it has ... bursitis is no fun either with Fibromyalgia. yes i hurt every day and especially being touched but I am living with it.I will soon be 63 wow can i believe it lol.. i say if you have pain keep at it to find solutions that work for you. id love to soak in bath tub but can't get out . my new knees ,prevent this .. but i won't give up...and no more knee pain ... god bless ...

Ditto jessiegirl i had cortisone in my coccyx on wednesday with much relief, very similar to bursitis I too will be 64 shortly retired early from theatre nursing 2 years ago, about the hot baths- I go to hydrotherapy every week and have done now for many years, the water is 32 degrees and heaven when you get in, its not for swimming its to unwind those tires achy muscles and joints, maybe ask you gp if there is any near you..You will meet new people and get lots of tips on coping.

Although the shots were for your hips it will circulate around more of your body. Glad they have made a difference. You probably won't be allowed in a Jacuzzi yet but that also works wonders on the pain, as not all areas allow access to a hydrotherapy pool

Welcome to the FMAUK Community! :)

Hope the hips are feeling a little better now - Fibromyalgia always seems to complicate everything and start flaring due the smallest thing. Sorry you can't have a bath due to not being able to get in and out, I would really miss them too especially using epsom salts to ease the pain.

As a newbie I've noticed you haven't locked you post to this community only. Here's a link how to do this;
