Tramadol doesn't work with me either....I take a stronger anti inflamatory, but the diazepam helps to relax my muscles!!! I suffer with whiplash which is the cause of my headaches, however I am not sure how much is fibro and how much is whiplash. Oh I also take Paracetamol on top too. xxx

My headaches were getting gradually worse and more frequent to a point where I had migraine symptoms for 3 months, we finally tried Imigran and a anti nausea drug to counteract, but this did kick start the relief and they then became less frequent. If i felt a migraine type headache coming on I would just take my imigran and /sumatriptan and prochlorperazine for the nausea, its all trial and error but this has worked for me. I hope this is of help x

Hi My medication is Tramadol, Diclofenac, Co=Codamol Oxazapam and steroids. I also have a bottle of Oramorph in the house should the pain get unbearable but been able to refrain from it so far. The reason for all these is because besides the Fibromyalgia I have 3 worn discs in my spine and Polymyagia Rheumatica. The reason I mention all this is because they don,t touch a headache. I have found the best thing to do is to have a sniff of smelling salts and that normally gets rid. (This was a tip my late husband gave me from his footballing days). Might be worth a try for you I don,t know. Best Wishes to you all - we have to do what is best for ourselves to counter the pain etc.

I have had migraines for so long that I no longer bother with identifying whether they are a headache or a migrain simply because it always ends in a migrain and only imigran[sumatriptain] can touch it if taken early enough. If you wait until you really have a problem you are unlikely to get much relief. However, if you do get relief you can take more later - read the info.

Check with doctor that you can take this with what else you have.

Sincerely hope your head has cleared by now. Advise dark and quiet with plenty of water, although I prefer cola as I don't return it!

Take care. p.s. my youngest daughter had a migraine out of the blue and it turned out that she had very bad toncillitus! To her it felt mild, but it was so bad the pustules went black! The hospital were useless. Gave her one codeine! I ask you - one! Who takes one nowadays!
