Hi

Even if your husband cares for you still go for both Care and Mobility of PIP as you are entitled to it .

But as Liz62 says get help to complete if you can

Hello. We use a website called Benefits & Work. This is very helpful. With information from this site we were able to complete my PIP application and after a face to face meeting where awarded standard rate in both daily living and mobility. There is a yearly subscription of around £15 but you get access to detailed explanation of how to apply and explain in (English lol) what the descriptors mean.

releasethemagic posted a very helpful link on here yesterday for claiming PIP ( very kind and helpful of you releasethemagic) go back through yesterday’s posts and use that. Good luck, and as already said: claim both mobility and care, and good luck 😉 xx

Here is the link I posted yesterday to a free Guide to Claiming PIP

drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw...

The Benefits and Work Guides are also extremely good. They don't just cover the claim form, but Mandatory Reconsiderations, Challenging a Disability Assessor's report and Appeals. See

benefitsandwork.co.uk

Qualifying for PIP is not about what is wrong with you or your prognosis. They don't care what your illness or disability is. What matters is a series of Daily Living Tasks and whether you can do them on your own, with aids or with assistance from another person. For Mobility, it's about the distance you can walk reliably - that is: safely, to an acceptable standard, repeatedly and in reasonable time. See this website
